The next stop is one of Rome’s most celebrated pizzerias, Pizzarium. Sample multiple flavors made by the “Michelangelo of Pizza,” Gabriele Bonci, perhaps prosciutto with fig, zucchini, and ricotta, or scamorza with spinach. Delicious, interesting and fun.
Great food tour with an entertaining tour guide. Plenty of history of the area. Food was delicious at every stop and we were well lubricated with wine too.

    BEST TIME-GREAT FOOD
Marlo Di Crasto was the BEST!!! We had 6 people in our party, a single Lady and and another couple. We had the best time. We did our tour on Nov.23 and it was a cool evening. The restaurants she shared with us were really good and the service at each stop was the best. We especially loved the first restaurant that had the little appetizer that was made with pizza dough, much like an open calzone. We would highly recommend using her! In the photo Marlo, our guide is in the lower left!!

A GREAT way to feel like a local in an old Roman neighborhood!
This was definitely a highlight of our trip! Lana was AMAZING! We took this tour on our first night in Rome and it was a great way to start. It truly felt like we were locals just walking the streets of Trastevere and stopping at little places for great food and wine. Every place we went knew Lana and treated us all like family. HIGHLY recommended.

    Unmissable experience in Rome
From start to finish this was an amazing experience which was informative, fun and delicious ! We started off in a cute deli/authentic shop tasting various types of food including local pesto, cheese and truffle flavour items with lovely Prosecco. We then took a short walk to the restaurant where we were greeted with more Prosecco and started to make our tiramisu. Followed by pasta making with two types (ravioli and fettuccini) free flowing wine and a sit down meal tasting all the food we had made! What really topped off the experience was our host Leila who was passionate and really welcoming! This is great to do with a group of friends, highly recommend and had such a laugh !

A taste the authentic flavors of the city. Whether you're in the mood for pasta, pizza, or traditional Roman specials, there is something for every palette in Trastevere. The main places to visit during a food tour of Trastevere include Campo de' Fiori, where you can find all kinds of street food, and the ancient district of Trastevere itself, which is full of restaurants and cafés ready to show you the essence of Roman culinary tradition. If you want to discover the historical beauty and culinary gems of Rome, make sure to book a food tour in Trastevere. It's a truly unforgettable experience and definitely worth your time

    A great tour!
A fabulous tour of the Trastevere neighborhood by Ludovica! A great food experience at three great restaurants -- and gelato at the end! Ludovica is a smart, funny and expert guide for this great Roman neighborhood. Lots of food and wine, and she gives you plenty of time to savor and digest the excellent meals.

    Good food, good times
We could not have been any happier with the Trastavere food tour. Our first stop at Trapizzino we enjoyed suppli and trapizzini and wine. This set the pace for the evening. We then continued to Essenza Wine Bar where we had a selection of cheeses and meats (special shout out for accommodating an allergy), and wine. We continued on to Peppo Al Cosimato, with its offering of choice of pasta and main course dishes, and wine. To finish the tour we stopped at Rione 13 for delicious gelato. All the foods were delicious and well presented. Our guide Ludovica (Lu) was friendly, well informed and entertained us throughout the evening. We could not have asked for a better guide. We enjoyed it so much we booked a pasta making class for the next day.

Good Food, Good Wine, Great Guide!
The food was great! It was a well rounded selection of modern and classic roman fare, with more than enough for dinner. The neighborhood was fun to walk around in and our tour guide Ottavia did a wonderful job of immersing us in the history and the stories of the different types of food we were eating.

    Great food tour in Trastevere
A fun and friendly food tour with a great mix of different food, wines and venues, all in easy walking distance from one another. Our guide was great and we learnt lots about the different types of food and regions. Definitely recommend!

    Fantastic afternoon
Me and my friend attended this cooking class and it was just the best afternoon and I think my favourite part of our trip to Rome. We started off in a cafe/deli which we had to ourselves and did a tasting of some Italian products such as pestos, truffle sauces and cheeses, all accompanied by the best Prosecco I’ve ever tasted! You also have the option to buy all of these products (and you will want to) as the cafe sells them! We then took a short walk to a local restaurant where they were set up for us to make tiramisu, fettuccine and ravioli, again accompanied by Prosecco throughout. Once everything was made, the chefs cooked it for us and we were served everything we had made for dinner and this was accompanied by some beautiful wine. Leila was our host throughout the tasting and at the pasta making alongside the chefs. She was so welcoming and made an effort to make sure she knew everyone in the group by name and was very knowledgable about all of the products which was so interesting! She’s a real asset to the company! This is by far the best cooking class I could find looking at them all on paper and I’m so glad I booked it as it exceeded my already high expectations.

It was a great night with our guide Celeste. She was very enthusiastic about both the tour and food in general. Large scope of knowledge she was always ready to share with the group. While all the stop were delicious and we booked partly due to the Pizzarium but the real treat turned out to be the "dinner" stop at the restaurant for charcuterie and pasta. The staff and owner made it so much more special. Well done.

The guide was wonderful! Don’t know how to spell her name but it sounded like: Cheleste. She was attractive, bouncy, fun, full of food facts and enthusiasm. For the first part, she served a selection of antipastos and a prosecco in a cafe, while schooling us on Italian delicacies, then we walked the neighborhood with stops for pizza, more antipastos and a pasta, followed by gelato (best we’ve ever had!). We we joined by two other couples, who by the end of the night had become new friends. Really fun evening!
