    Not worth the cost.
Under impressive and not worth the cost. Food was not all that special. Not much of a history of the sites. Felt like he was dragging out the time but not covering much of the sites. The spot for muscles and meat balls was not a real restaurant and was very sterile. We were the only ones in the place.

Great Tour - Well Worth the Time and Money
We loved our Discovery Tour of Brussels! We only had one full day in Brussels and this tour made our time so much better. The food was delicious, beer was amazing, and our tour guide Eddie rounded out the entire experience. He was knowledgeable, kind, and took the time to get to know us all. Eddie made the tour what is was, the good beer and delicious food was just the cherry on top! I would highly recommend this tour if you have some time while in Brussels.

Great Belgian walking tour with LOTS of food!
Eddie our tour guide was wonderful. Very energetic and high-spirited, he clearly loves Brussels and he is definitely a foodie. Do not eat for at least 8 hours before coming on this tour! We ate basically 2 full traditional lunches with beer, sweets, and ended with Belgian waffles. LOVED this tour! Would highly recommend!

Great Beer, Great Bars, and Fantastic Guide
Sebastian was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable. Took us down many alley ways to pubs and bars we would never have discovered on our own and providing information about every pub and the beers we were trying. Small, very compatible group of 7 of. It was like going out drinking with friends. Highly recommend

    Slow, not well run.
Slow, not well run. But good people, good beer and some cool little places that you never would have known were there down some cool little alleys.

Was an enjoyable food tour of Brussels
Had a great time and it was a great tour. Avo was very interesting to listen to, and made sure to chat to everyone in the group. The tour focused mainly on the food/drink but did get to hear plenty of history about Brussels. There was a great explanation about Belgium chocolates, the history of Belgium chocolates and got to sample some in two different chocolate shops. Left the tour very full and a little bit merry.

    Good beer and good company.
Good selection of beers at interesting places I would probably not have found on my own. Very personable guide.

This was a great tour to visit some fantastic chocolate shops. Our guide, Eddie, did an excellent job given that it was only he second time. He was very good at giving us the history of Belgium and Brussels. Every chocolate shop we visited and had a tasting at was incredible. We even went back to two after the tour to buy some chocolate.

This is also a great way to see some of the city. We walked through the Grand Place and even saw the three "peeing" statues that hold very high status in Brussels. The workshop was not exactly what I was expecting. While it was fun to decorate different cookies and snacks with chocolate, it wasn't exactly a workshop in my opinion. I was a little disappointed by the semi-misleading description, but it was still fun. Everyone was so nice and pleasant. And the chocolate was delicious. I would recommend this tour to anyone, just know that the workshop is just decorating, not really a workshop.

We booked this tour with great anticipation amongst our children. We showed up on time and waited in front of the Godiva store as instructed…we chatted to every tour guide in the vicinity without finding our guide for 20 minutes. We called the phone number given 10 times until our guide picked up to say for us to wait for him to come. We waited 45 minutes. We called him again repeatedly, for him to tell us that he was now leading a beer tour and cancelling our tour. Really unprofessional and a disappointment. Thank goodness we were refunded eventually but a big waste of time.

First of all the refund you had, was thank to us. We have to decide if Viator can refund the customer. I think you were at the wrong meeting point or far too late. If a customer has a problem we receive a first call from Viator. And I checked there was no call. The problem here must be in the middle. A big misunderstanding and failure from both sides.

10/10 would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who loves chocolate and history. We were a group of 3 who had the BEST chocolate experience of our lives. We visited 5 local chocolate confectionaries and chocolatiers where we sampled 2-3 chocolates at each location plus some other treats and the workshop was very well done! Avo was an amazing tour guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about chocolate. I would do this tour again and would recommend anyone to sign up for this tour with Avo!

Highly recommend, especially early in your trip to Brussels. Not only do you taste the best chocolate Brussels has to offer, you actually learn about the process of what makes chocolate so great. The city tour between chocolate stores provides plenty of history and recommendations of where to go and what to do. Well worth the price considering the amount of chocolate you sample. Making our own chocolate treats was super fun. They even provided beer during our chocolate making experience. Overall, definitely recommend this tour

We had limited time in Brussels and am so glad that we signed up for this tour! Not only was it a great way to get to taste chocolate from multiple shops in the area, but it was a great way to see the city and learn about its history! I would highly recommend!

Excellent Tour, full of chocolate tasters in different shops. Thought the tour guide we had was extremely knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour and showed us lots of the main sights in Brussels. She went out of her way to make sure my partner who was feeling unwell (pregnant) was still included and for this I can’t thank her more. Chocolate making also a fun and tasted really good. Would recommend highly

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating of our schedule. I would have preferred the workshop to include some nicer options for “making” chocolate - for what we paid I was underwhelmed with that part of the experience. I liked the walking tour and learned a lot. Overall I enjoyed this tour - the selection of chocolate shops and samples were fantastic and appreciated the discount offered by several chocolate shops we visited!

This was the highlight of our trip to Brussels. We ate far too many chocolates (almost all of which were delicious). The chocolate workshop was somewhat fun too, and there was definitely a lot of interesting history our tour guide shared. We also ended up getting discounts at two of the 4 shops, which worked out since they also had our favourite chocolates.

I was conflicted with how to rate this tour. My teen daughter loved it but I thought it could have been done in half the time without the workshop. I will try to summarize. Beni, our tour guide, was good. She educated us on the different regions and sourcing of chocolates. She also hit a few highlights of the history of architecture around the square. However, it felt like it took so long to get to our first chocolate tasting. The pace was very slow and being hot outside it really made things drag on. The "workshop" is really just pouring melted chocolate on a plate. The workshop stop was a good time to cool off, get some water and go the the bathroom. We stayed there probably a little too long. Then, we had three more shops to visit after that. It really dragged on in my opinion. I think the tour could be done in two hours with the chocolate pouring. My daughter, on the other hand, loved the tour. So I will rate the tour as average.

Hello, you booked this tour for your daughter. She was happy with the tour and you weren't. And it was very hot outside, which is not our fault. The workshop is 1hour, enough to learn how to make your own creations. And if you participate in an active way, the result is amazing.

This chocolate tasting tour was better than we expected. Our guide shared a lot of history about the chocolate industry and the local area of Brussels, which enhanced the experience. We visited several shops, tasted lots of chocolate, and participated in a chocolate workshop, creating treats that we could take home with us. We walked a lot, but it was worth it!
