- Elisha P00Family Friendly TourMy family and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Julie and Leo were AMAZING, knowledge, professional, and VERY sweet to our fur baby. I highly recommend being a part of the Hungry Mary experience. Thanks again for such a good time!
- leestokes00If you only do one Brussels walking tour, make it this one!Very interesting, informative and well planned. Could not have asked for better tour guides - Julie & Lil made the afternoon - knowledge, personable and often quite funny. Not your typical tour, not your typical guides - thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Well worth it!
- JulieL070700Local favouritesGreat guides (Marten and Jeremy)! Funny and very knowledgeable of the best local products and places! We can’t wait to go back to Brussels 🍻
- B3316XGsusanp00Excellent and funMartin and Jeremy were the dream team! Martin was very engaging and funny. Jeremy took excellent care of us. We learned so much about beer and chocolate.
- lilewery00Expérience divineJoyfull & cheerful mood, atypical and interesting discovery of Brussels, incredible products’quality, generosity of the offer … waw, it’s was a wonderful moment that I will recommend and offer ! Thank you Julie & Mathilde for your perfect work !
- evaandersonn00Brilliant tour!Highly recommend this tour! Worth every penny! Daniel was so lovely and knowledgable, we got to see parts of the city we would have otherwise missed out on. It’s a great way to meet people, oh and the beer and chocolate is good as well haha
- E8251LVbobc00Really made our stay in BrusselsWe were in Amsterdam for several days before taking the train to Brussels. We thought we'd take a hop-on hop-off bus tour, but read very mixed reviews so we booked this tour. Mary was amazing. She was entertaining, informative and really knew her chocolate and beer. She showed us not just chocolate shops and beer houses/bars, but showed us many of the sites on our tour - it was well worth the time (about 4.5 hours) and money (cheap actually). We highly recommend.
- Denise K00Best tour in BelgiumAbsolutely wonderful! High quality chocolates and beers. Super guide! Management of the group was perfect.
- stephaniej60700Wonderful. Don't miss it!Our guides, Mary and Ophelie were just outstanding. Mary is very knowledgeable about the chocolate and beer and we had many tastings of both. They took us to interesting local places with great character. Since I (Stephanie) don't really drink beer, Ophelie was wonderful in getting me a wine or other drink. She also really helped me when I was a little separated from the group and just was really wonderful all around. Highly recommend. Also we had to reschedule from Sunday to Saturday and was accommodated. Thank you Mary!
- 161garrettj00Must Do in BrusselsWe absolutely loved our tour! Our guide was Daniel and he was amazing. He was very upbeat and made the tour lots of fun!! Well worth the money. We tried 8 different beers and tasted a ton of different chocolates!
- kchi1300Chocolate, Beer, and a bit of culture thrown inGreat tour where you get to taste a ton of chocolate, some picked for you and some you get to choose the flavor. Add to the mix a walk around Brussels with a bit of cultural info given the ending with a wonderful selection of beer. What we liked best was they didn’t give you the standard Belgium beers, but some less well known or only absolve in Belgium beers.
- boba_fetts_helmet00Worth every pennyAdrian took us on a whirlwind journey through Brussels- 4 chocolatiers- with tastings in each, and plenty of in-depth reviews, tips, and information. A tour of the highlights of the centre of town. Then to 5 small local bars- each with a couple of glasses of local beers, again with plenty of reviews, tips, and information. A group of us then carried on drinking and eating into the early hours.
- Victor W00Had a great time truly enjoyableThe tour was very informative and our tour guide Adrian was very joyful, humorous and extremely knowledgeable. There was lots of history thrown in and happy moments. Adrian taught us how to appreciate Chocolates in great detail. we learnt how to tell is the different quality of chocolates. Even my wife who does not like beers very much learnt to appreciate the different types of beers, the taste profiles and differences between the types of beers. Overall we had a very enjoyable time and took back some history and knowledge. Highly recommended.
- charlottew19000Amazing tour with Baptiste!Worth every penny and allows you to see shops and bars that you would otherwise never find on your own. Baptiste was an amazing guide and had a real insight into Brussels and the surrounding area. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone in the area.
- Z5037VYsaml00One of a kind experience, you won't regret itOur guide Baptiste was super funny and knows his chocolate and beer, the tasting includes a lot of chocolate so prepared to get sugar shock=) You got to taste chocolate at shops often time do not offer free sampling, plus 10% discounts on most of them after the tour. The beers portion was real nice too, had a cold cut and cheese platter at our first stop, food was super yummy, at the last stop we got to pair the beer with Brussels fries! If you are there and have the time to spare, join the tour, you won't be disappointed.

I read a lot of reviews deciding which tour to book for our trip to Brussels and consistently read only great things about Hungry Mary’s Chocolate and Beer Tour, and now I know why I only read good things about this tour. Daniel and Mathilde were hands down the best tour guides I’ve ever had. Daniel is extremely personable and funny, and while he consistently teased throughout the tour that he talks too much he honestly kept everyone engaged and entertained. Matilde was very sweet and was very attentive to everyone as well. The tour itself is well worth the price, which honestly is a very fair price. We visited three chocolatiers and three taverns. At the second tavern they gave us bread, frites, and charcuterie so that we had something besides chocolate in our bellies to go with the beer! It took about 4-4.5 hours, all walking, so ensure you wear good walking shoes! On top of the chocolate and beer we also got a lot of information about the city of Brussels and my personal favorite, the Manneken Piss. All in all I cannot recommend this tour enough and if you are lucky enough to get Daniel and/or Matilde you are in extreme luck!

Our guide was excellent, well informed and entertaining! Great selection of beers and chocolate, pointing out key interest areas along the way through historical Brussels. Small enough group to feel personalized, by the end of the tour a camaraderie between our travel group had developed. Highly recommend as an introduction to the city and culture!

We, as a couple, have visited numerous cities on weekend breaks but have never done a guided tour (other than a hop-on-hop-off bus trip) so this tour was a first for us! I would definitely recommend it. Such a fantastic afternoon, sampling numerous amounts of chocolate and many different types of beer in a variety of pubs along the way. Extra nibbles were included (probably to try and keep us sober!) and it ended at 7pm. (Light dinner would only be required after you walk away) Our tour guides were informative and funny without blabbing on and on. Just enough information given and plenty of laughs along the way. Seriously give it a go, well worth your money and thoroughly enjoyable.

Chocolate and Beer were both exceptional! The guide gave brief and funny history of the city, chocolatiers and brewers. They sent a reminder to you on the day, as well as gave suggestions on the tour of places to eat and drink in the city. Overall, great experience!

Our tour guide Baptiste led us through an amazing tour of Brussels. We indulged in amazing chocolates, imbibed wonderful drinks, and were greatly entertained with Baptiste's history and jokes. Baptiste was very informed, happily answered our questions, and was overall great to be around. I highly recommend taking this tour before you buy any chocolate to get a better sense of what you prefer. For the beer tour, Baptiste showed us bars that I would have never thought to enter and really made me feel like a local. Additionally, he provided a great history of beer making, monks, and more. I can't recommend this trip enough and it is well worth the money!

Our guides were great and passed lots of information. We went to four different chocolate stores where we sampled peices at each. We also went to 3 pubs and had 7 beers to sample. We were given great info about everything we sampled and also shown alot of the great city sites during our transits.
Tour was a great value and would not hesitate to book.

We had an amazing experience on this tour with our guide Daniel and his assistant. He is extremely knowledgeable of chocolates, beers and the city! We sampled many varieties of delicious chocolates and visited super fun, cool bars in city center. I usually don’t drink beer but found many of the Belgium beers to be enjoyable. We also sampled delicious cheeses and salami. Daniel provided us with a lot of fun facts, history along the way and he gave us great recommendations for restaurants. This is a great tour to take to help orient yourself to the city and it’s absolutely fun!!! Truly worth the money!!!!

What a fun afternoon with Julie and her assistant Ofili( not sure of the spelling)! Julia had a wealth of knowledge about beer and chocolates and remained enthusiastic and energetic the entire 3 1/2 hour of our tour. We had a fairly large group of 21 but she made everyone of us feel special. In addition to an ample sampling of chocolates and more than enough beer and some snacks, we learned a lot of the history of each chocolatier and beer while walking also having time to walk through the city, learning a bit of history along the way. We toured three chocolatiers and three bars. Highly recommend for an entertaining and informative afternoon in Brussels.

Great tour with amazing guides, Daniel and Marie. We did 3 chocolatiers and 3 pubs, with 3-4 chocolates and 2 beers at each place, so it’s actually great value. Daniel and Marie were so personable and had great insights into the beer and chocolate as well as Brussels in general. Would recommend to anyone, as they catered for all ages, non beer drinkers, etc.

Mary was amazing! We went on a tour with her back in May and we had so much fun. She was so knowledgeable on both the chocolates and beers. She made sure to point out all the best spots for both chocolate and beer, as well as mentioning helpful things for our stay beyond the scope of her tour. Not only is it a chocolate and beer tour, she also explains the history of Brussels and points out historical sites!
Prior to this tour, I had absolutely zero experience with Belgian beer and disliked beer in general. Her tour made me appreciate beer and finally find ones I like! I also fell in love with every chocolate place we visited. Her selection was a perfect balance of everything and each piece of chocolate we tried tastes so unique.
Everything about the tour was extremely detailed and thought out. We had a question about one of the beers a few days after the tour and Mary was more than happy to help us. I seriously cannot recommend this enough. If you’re visiting Brussels you NEED to make time for this tour!!!! I’ve already told all my friends and family thinking of visiting Belgium that they have to book this tour during their stay. Seriously, you will not regret it! Thank you for a lovely time Mary!

Hi, has anyone else not yet received a refund after cancellation? I booked this trip for 4th April, however due to CV it’s not possible to attend.
I have been trying to contact via email and phone, but no answer. I would really appreciate it if Mary got in touch.

When we were on the tour a few weeks ago, there was a young child (around 3 year old).
All the venues were easy access, except for one with stairs, but the stroller was carried upstairs by the group.
The duration (and lat finish) may be an issue for the baby.... but otherwise there shouldn't be a problem.
I would recommend talking to the tour company - in order to satisfy yourselves around any concerns you may have.
Hello,
