Excellent walking tour of Brussels our guide Lolo was full of energy, very knowledgeable and passionate about Brussels and she was an excellent communicator. Really interesting to learn about the history and significance of the various landmarks around the city and also the history of Belgium. The tour was about 2.5 hours long so well worth the tip we payed that's cheaper than most tours. I think it's hilarious that people are leaving reviews saying they were scammed and had to pay twice did they really expect a 2.5 hour tour of Brussels for €2.99 per person?? I take it they didn't bother reading the tour details as it clearly states the guides work for tips, apparently the €2.99 only covers the booking on the platform. Don't let people put you off..this was a great tour and it's up to you how much you tip. I think most paid around €20 each which I think is more than reasonable. I would definitely recommend this tour if you're visiting Brussels.

We did a free walking tour as part of our trip to Brussels. Lolo, our guide, was brilliant! She was so knowledgeable about the history of Brussels and it was clear to see she loved her city and sharing it with others. While it was a brilliant tour, I would have loved to have seen some of the more unusual and less ‘touristy’ spots which you wouldn’t know to see unless you’re with a local.

Paulo’s tour was amazing. Surely one of the best of many I’ve participated in traveling around Europe.
He did a great job balancing anecdotes and jokes with historical facts, so the experience doesn’t get too heavy but you still learn a lot about the city. It was not my first walking tour in Brussels, and I loved that he didn’t focused just on the city center. Instead, he took us to Le Sablon and Marrolles, which are less touristic and frequented by locals. Plus he’s very friendly, which in my case as a solo traveler makes a whole lot of difference.
All of this, and the tips he gives to help tourists navigate the city, makes this tour a must on your first travel to Brussels.

Absolutely fantastic tour. The man who gave the tour was extremely knowledgable and most important - he was incredibly enthusiastic. It was a joy to be on his tour. Everyone participating in the tour was also very impressed by the guide. I’d like to note that although it is a ‘free’ tour - aside from the €3 to book through trip advisor - the guide works on commission only, so expect to gift him around €20 cash at the end of the tour. It’s very much worth the money though, and he mentioned has to pay tax on each of the spectators im who were present in the tour. Very comprehensive and his history delved back 500 years or so. A passionate historian who deserves recognition and success in what he does. Thank you

I only lasted for 45 minutes on this 2.5 hour tour, because even though it was supposed to be a walking tour, we stood for the first 45 minutes in the middle of the Grand Place (plaza) in the wind and rain while we were lectured to non-stop about the history of Belgium. The guide kept saying we were going to walk around, but we never did. Perhaps if we had I wouldn't have frozen so much and left early. I even paid in advance for this tour online, which most other people didn't, since when I arrived there was a sign on his umbrella saying 'free tours." If they were free, why was I charged? Also he said that it was suggested to tip him 10euros per person. Since I didn't feel like it was worth it to me, and I didn't get to walk around - plus I had already paid - I gave him 5 euros. I think someone should train the guides to be more interesting and fun. Many people were sighing and rolling their eyes in boredom, but he didn't seem to notice.

Booked onto a walking tour of Brussels and our guide Sara was fantastic! Originally from Spain she’d spent several years in Brussels and knew a lot about the architecture of the buildings etc. Her enthusiasm made the tour and the 2 hours flew by seeing sights of the city I wouldn’t have ordinarily been to. Having not done a walking tour before I’d thoroughly recommend this to anyone. Our tour was made up of people from all over the world and we all introduced ourselves at the beginning which broke the ice. We even got some cake from a group of Belgians who had dressed up the Mannekin Pis for the day!

It was Very informative especially how Belgium killed over 75 Million people from Congo in 25 years. Made me think Much less of Belgium and the Taint that is their history and their people.
Besides from that, enjoyed our tour guide. He was Very informative, funny, entertaining and he knew Alot of the history of Belgium. Would take him again.
