About the operator
- keidys202300AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!Amazing experience with Nile Holiday!! From our arrival, staff member were waiting for us at the airport. Everyone were very helpful, friendly and kind at all time. Khaled always answered our needs when we have it. He and all the staff members help us until our last minute before boarding our flight back home. We ask for special tour guides who speaks Spanish and all of them had good accent. Special acknowledgment to Gamal, he was our tour guide who always helps us when needed. I recommend all travelers 100%!! Definitely would take the tour again if I come back to Egypt!
- 35eleanorw00Very Expensive-you can do better.Aswan to Luxor. Four days, three nights. Not really four full days unless you book Abu Simbel. I would not recommend doing so. Not worth the drive. This trip is very expensive for a solo traveler. You will have different tour guides and drivers. You are constantly tipping. The communication is not great. The method of payment through PayPal charges the customer a huge transaction fee. I paid over €80 in transaction fees for a trip that was almost €1300 for a three night cruise. The food on the ship is repetitive & mediocre. There is a constant feeling of being under pressure to pay overprice & a great lack of transparency. This is everywhere in Egypt
- 35eleanorw00I think you can do betterFor a single person this is very expensive. The food was pretty much the same each day and was mediocre at best. I had different tour guides and drivers frequently. Tips are enforced, regardless of service. Paying online is like nothing I have ever seen before with extra charges. They charge such a large fee, it is really overpriced.
- tomwright4500Amazing Nile cruiseAmazing 4D/3N dahabiya cruise from Aswan to Luxor! The guide Zak was very friendly and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for us. The boat was beautiful all of the sights along the way were so impressive! The tour was very well organised and Nile Holidays (particularly Mr Khaled) were super helpful and quick in answering any questions we had. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great trip!
- milpride00Prompt communication and excellent tour guideWe had a great time in Luxor. Thanks to Khaled (Tour Operator) and Mahmood (the tour guide). Khaled was extremely prompt in organizing and communicating the events and timings ahead of the trip and very responsive to any queries. I would highly recommend Nile Holiday to anyone that visits Egypt. They made the entire trip much easier and less stressful since Khaled coordinated promptly at each and every step. Our tour guide Mahmood was extremely knowledgeable in Ancient Egypt history and patiently explained the details as and when needed. Very friendly, funny and approachable guide. If you are a history buff and want to get into the nitty gritty details of ancient Egypt history, he is your MAN. Make sure to ask for Mahmood as your tour guide, you will not be disappointed.
- Coastal0904753857200Nile Holiday - Luxor toursNile Holiday, although much cheaper than other private tours we had done, turned out to be the best tour company we had on our two week trip in Egypt. Our very knowledgeable guide (Walid) was very passionate about Egypt and making sure our experience was the best. He made us feel welcomed and did not make us feel rushed at all, allowing us enough time to enjoy the sites we visited. I would highly recommend Nile Holiday and Walid to enjoy your time in Egypt.
- 828miyukih00Great and special opportunityIt was much more relaxing but very detailed visit comparing with the visit to The Valley of kings. I definitely recommend this package. My guide Azab was very professional, easy going and kind so that I can look at the details of places and ask him many questions. He used work as alqueolog before and worked in som sites in Luxor. He as excellent guide and good English.
- somshankar00Wonderful trip through EgyptThe trip was very well organised and everything was provided as promised. We had taken a 10 day trip on Egypt including Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan, Luxor including a Nile river cruise of 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience and very comfortable at every step of the trip.
- 16umangp00Luxor visit with tour guide AzapWe had a wonderful time visiting Luxor with Azap. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Egypt. He made the experience very fun and rewarding. Thank you so much for your hospitality Azap!
- Nabu7100Egyptian AdventureWonderful experience! Khaled Reyad arranged an 11-day stay in Egypt for our group of three. His communication, from start to finish, was exceptional. There were multiple changes as we planned our trip, and Khaled's responsiveness and professionalism really shined. We felt very safe and well informed. From the moment our plane landed in Cairo, Khaled ensured we were attended to every step of the way. From our personal attendant, Iman, who handled our entry visas, walked us through the customs process, and collected and loaded our bags into our personal transportation vehicle. We did not have to worry about a thing! We were transported to our hotel to begin our adventure. We stayed in Cairo 3 nights (Four Seasons First Residence), Hurghada for another 2 nights (Steigenberger Ras Soma), then transferred to a 4 night river cruise (Mayfair M/S Esplanade), and wrapped up with a final night in Cairo (LeMeridienAirport). Excellent selection of 5-star hotels! Top notch service during our stays at each location. Special shout out to Abanoub (Four Seasons) and Fahmy (river cruise), who both made our dining experience magical. We had 3 guides (Sultan in Cairo, Mahmoud in Luxor and Aswan, and Abdul in Abu Simbel) throughout our journey. All were super knowledgeable, passionate about their work, and genuinely nice people; however, one guide stood out amongst the others. Sultan was an amazing guide. He was very personalble and accommodating, making us all feel comfortable and safe. As we traveled across Egypt, Khaled was always in touch, letting us know what to expect (pick-up times, guides' names, etc). If we had questions, he was quick to respond. Bottom line: Our group had a wonderful experience in Egypt thanks to Khaled and Nile Holiday!
- R9732LOheidip00First Class Incredible Experience & Top Notch GuideOur tour guide Whaled & the team at Nile Holiday were beyond outstanding 1st class from the very beginning when booking to the very end drop off back at our location. They are professional, very communicative, safe, beyond knowledgeable , kind, fun, honest & the pricing is excellent for private tour. I really can't say enough about them. They don't try to sell you a million other things, put you into any uncomfortable situation & truly go over & beyond. If you don't use Nile Holiday your missing out.
- danielhg8800Great experience!Great service!! The communication before the trip was very good, since the arrival until my departure they were very profesional with my itinerary, we made all the things in the program and the experience was great in Egypt. They have guides in Spanish too, so it was an incredible trip. Thanks!
- emsMC1100Fabulous itinerary to the Valley of the QueensWe did a 10-day Nile boat cruise with Saga, which was excellent, but by far the best day of our holiday was the day trip with Nile Tours on our first day. Tayeb, our guide was very good. Nile Tours and Tayeb even organised an extra birthday celebration for my husband on a felucca, which we were thrilled with. The content of the trip to the Valley of the Queen's was brilliant and the quality of the artwork in the tombs was unforgettable. Thank you so much, Nile Tours and Tayeb.
- clippe00Expensive ticket to Nefertari’s tomb and surprising Habu templeYou will find the Valey of the Queens repetitive after you have done the e Valey of the Kings. I recommend doing it only if you are interested in visiting Nefertari’s tomb and you are interested enough to pay 1,600 EGP per person ( $52 USD AS OF July 2nd 2023). They also don’t offer student price, so it can come expensive for a family. They say no more than 10 minutes in the Nefertari’s tomb but not sure they really apply that rule. The Habu temple was surprisingly interesting and better preserved than other temples. We skipped the Valley of artisans. About the driver and the guide, they were very accommodating in adjusting to our plans. The guide is quiète knowledgeable which may lead to you getting more information than you need. I recommend this tour if you are passionate about ancient Egypt and you have extra time to go beyond the most famous sites
- clippe00Did the job but …Our transfer went smoothly today from Aswan to Luxor. The vehicle was a mini van with A/C, it was clean. The driver was there on time and drove us safely to Aswan. The driver was polite, professional although working with public might not be is cup of tea. My only concern is the r driver only spoke Arabic, very few words of English. It made communications very difficult or impossible.

My wife and I just spent 7 days on the Nile on a river boat. River boat cruises on the Nile are very popular and there are many options in terms of which company to cruise with and the length of the cruise. However, a Nile Cruise is a great complement to any tour of Egypt. From the Nile, you have access to Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel and much, much more.

We took the cruise and I cannot express how amazing this trip really was! Everything was perfect from the time we got on the ship. The staff was amazing, the food was fantastic! Our tour guide Mostafa was so knowledgable and thorough. All of the transfers and drivers were fantastic, on time and very professional. I highly recommend Nile Holiday. I have traveled to many places and Egypt was my best trip yet and I owe that to Nile Holiday! Also, anyone who is skeptical about visiting Egypt, please do not be! I felt safer in Egypt than in other parts of the world and I am already planning my trip back!

My sisters and I did the cruise with multiple sites visited. The boat met expectations and the crew on board was very helpful and professional. We enjoyed the food. The highlight of our trip was our guide Ahmed Abas. He made the trip a "once in a lifetime" trip. His knowledge about his country and the sites we visited were incredible. The experience would have been overwhelming to try and choose what to see with our time limit. Ahmed quickly assessed what we liked and what we needed. From coffee on the nile river, extra time for pictures, picking sites we would have missed to making sure we always had water, our needs were always met. Ahmed's sense of humor and professionalism added even more.

Horrible Dirty Boat! Within 5 minutes I knew I couldn’t possibly spend 5 more. Filthy floors, beds, everything. The refrigerator covered with rust. It made me sick just to look at the cabin. Didn’t bother to look anywhere else. Fortunately, for an extra $600 we were able to transfer to a very nice boat. Buyer, beware! When I spoke to the tour operator after seeing the boat he said it was a 5 star boat by Egyptian standards. However, we had to walk through 3 other boats to get to ours and it was obvious he was not being honest. The tour operator even said to look behind the check in desk to see the 5 star rating. Since I had seen the boat when I was leaving I tried to take a picture of the “5 Stars” behind the counter and the manager blocked the “5 Stars” with his hand so I couldn’t get a photo! I wonder if Viator will even post this review but it is the Truth. As an aside, our guide was very good. I cannot endorse this tour operator. The boat was Hapi 5.

Dear Seaghost3,
We pride ourselves on our customer service and really work hard 24/7 to fulfill every customer's wishes. But in your case totally understand your frustration with the service at this particular Nile Cruise but the very budget choices don’t always come with the best service. We can not serve you the best Nile Cruise for the Lowest price.
We are pride our service to be able to find your last minute Cruise according to your recent budget. The service we do only for our pre-booked customers, not available for last minute travelers
We still have the honour to serve you for the next coming days till the end of your holiday with us.
Thank you for choosing to travel with is Nile Holiday during your Egypt Trip

Went on several side trips using boat as a hotel . Spent 2 days in Cairo before that.in the Marriot hotel, a former palace of the last King Farouk. Visited the pyramids at Giza and the sphinx Also visited Observatory at Katameya, largest in the Middle East, among several things we saw not on the usual agenda I understand A good trip for anyone really into Ancient Egyptian history and civilization. Food and beds always OK. Very packed with visits to tombs and temples, and ended with a flight from Aswan the end of the Nile cruise to Abu Simbel across Lake Nasser to see the temples of Rameses II and Nefatari, his queen. Almost everyone has seen photos of those huge statues of the Pharoah and his queen. Other important sites. Valley of the Kings, temples at Karnak and Luxor, temple of Philae, Valley of the Nobles
Very hot during the days as we hit a heat wave. All accomodation air conditined.
My travelling companion and myself stayed in Cairo on our on for 3 days after the tour. The Amin Hotel in central Cairo near the Museum. Very noisy from traffic. Clean and adequate, quite cheap. Found guide and driver and visited Alexandria and pyramids at Saqqurah and the obelisk of Sensuret I in Cairo Were always treated with politeness from any Egyptian people with whom we dealt.

There is only one way to see all the main attractions in Egypt and this is with NILE HOLIDAYS TOURS. From the owner Khaled Reyad to all the drivers, our tour was amazing. From the minute we stepped off our plane upon arrival we literally had everything done for us. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable are the words I would use to describe our guides and drivers. Special thanks to Usama in Cairo for picking us up and taking us back to the airport as well as making sure we were checked in properly. Mohammed our guide in Luxor was probably one of the most informative people I have ever met. His knowledge of Egyptian history was astounding. Ahmed in Cairo was not only a great guide but also took us to a local restaurant to eat a typical Egyptian meal. Our cruise ship was Blue Shadow which was great but don't use cabin 406. It is right under the deck bar and beside the stairwell to go up to the deck and can be a bit noisy. Take Egyptian pounds because you get a better bang for your buck.

Khaled from Nile Holiday organised the perfect trip for us. 2 days in Luxor, 5 nights on a 5 stars cruise on the River Nile with a Dahabiya boat (we strongly recommend this kind of boat to anyone wishing to enjoy the cruise at a lower pace, without noise and being able to stop in many places where the big boats can't) and 2 nights in Cairo. Everything worked out well and was perfect from the beginning to the end. Khaled was very helpful during the organization of our trip and went out of his way helping us while we were in Luxor and I needed a doctor. Our guide in Luxor and on the cruise, Walid, was very professional, experienced and so friendly and nice, he will stay forever in our hearts and best memories as a good friend as well as a guide. Also our guides in Abu Simbel and Cairo were very helpful and made our visits very interesting. The drivers were always on time and drove safely. The Gorgonia Dahabiya staff was incredible, and the boat owner Arafa is very good at choosing the right people for the job. The food was real egyptian and absolutely delicious. The cook made special dishes for me as I am lactose intolerant. We felt really at home (Thank you Ahmed, always there at any time ready to help). Of course the wonders of Egypt do a lot but this trip would't have been the same without the people working to make it great. We were also very lucky with our travel companions, so what more to wish?

Thanks to Khaled and team of NILE HOLIDAY for a wonderful 4 night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan recently. Everything was well organised from hotel pick up, scheduling of visits to the various sites and drop off at airport...
A special thanks to Abdul our guide, who willingly shared his extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and culture with us......
The cruise was very enjoyable. Staff were pleasant, with good service. The restaurant had a wide selection of food to choose from.
Would be happy to book with Nile holiday again.

By tripadvisor and viator, the travel agency Nile Holiday came up, the operation manager is Mr Khaled Keyad from Luxor, Egypt.
I was looking for a Nile Cruise (floating hotel) from Luxor to Aswan for 4 nights and some tours beyond those offered by Radamis I, the boat offered by Nile Cruise was a five star ship, all tours were private with a chaffeur, AC vehicle and a guide-egyptologist Muhammad Saeed Gomaa and his historical knowledge, tolerance and protection. I am eternally grateful. They had daily pleasures cares for me. Punctuality is British.
All private tours were carried out with dignity, wisdom, protection, discussions, safety and my own speed. I am a fast walker and thinker. The order of the tours and speed of the ride depended on me. My travel plans were fully executed to perfection.
Several agencies in Egypt refused me, I was alone on this thirty-day tour around Egypt. The damage to these other agencies was financially high. An agency answered me when I had chosen Nile Cruise and EMO Tours Egypt did not even respond.
The operation manager, Khaled Keyad answers an email (sent millions), no kidding, in five minutes the email was answered in the most cordial and professional manner possible. All your most absurd questions are answered with education and always solving your doubts.
I just wanted to share how much I enjoy dealing with Nile Holiday. You have great people working to make business travel as painless as possible. That was the first time I worked with Khaled Keyad - he is brilliant.
I have traveled around this planet a lot and I can assure you that Nile Holiday is the best travel agency I have ever used. The best team, as well.
He is customer focused, cheerful and always willing to help you find the best travel options. He has great follow up and is always armed with a "how might we" attitude. I love when I send an email and Someone answer the email in less than a day!
If you think that you can travel to Egypt by yourself, big mistake.
Nile Holiday has the best options, suggestion and price.

I can’t say enough about this cruise ship. The staff was accommodating. They have a delightful sense of humor when allowed to express it. The food was delicious - many selections and a chance to have omelets or pasta cooked to your specifications. Housekeeping was efficient, replacing towels and linens frequently. I especially enjoyed being surprised by the animals housekeeping created with our towels! This cruise ship should not be missed.

Hello. I am planning a trip to Egypt for June of next year. What is the earliest I can book the 4 day cruise from Luxor to Aswan if I want to take the cruise around the middle of June 2020. Do I have to wait until December to book the cruise?

The Cruise ship name "MS GRAND SUN". For more info you may ask/Google your tour operator. For higher Deck you may ask while booking, and make a note for higher deck request. Because most of ppl ask for higher deck.
They claim it's 5 star, but as per experince, food etc .. I gave 3.5 star ..
Thnx
