    Superb evening of great Jazz
    An amazing venue with amazing band the night we visited. Great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit and make sure you reserve a table prior to attending.

    A great find for champagne lovers
    This is a great place for champagne lovers. There is a wide range of champagnes to suit al tastes and the staff will advise on ones to suit your preferences. I was travelling alone and the man in charge helped me to select wisely from the range of champagnes by the glass. Another plus is that they specialise in smaller houses so that you will sample some brands that you may never have heard of before.

    Great music at a pleasant little venue
    Jazz Station is an arts centre devoted to jazz, based in a converted railway station, with frequent evening concerts. It's a little way out of town (taxi or bus) but well worth the journey. Check out their website first to see what's on. We went on a Thursday night to see the Jazz Station big band, who play 50s/60s style jazz with a larger than usual ensemble (14 when we were there, but it may vary). Mostly original compositions with some covers (Theolonius Monk...). There's no booking, so get there early. For our show, doors opened 8:00, with standing room only by 8:30. Entry was cheap and there's a good value bar.
