A must visit when in Brussels. No matter how hard we tried, our clicks just couldn’t capture the beauty and vibe. Nice to see the buildings of the different guilds. All the famous chocolatiers outlets are present here. We tried selections from Mary, Neuhaus, Leonidas and Godiva

We walked here from the Grand Place and then walked to the Galeries Royales Saint Hubert. Worthwhile spending about half and hour here. After all the ornate churches and basilicas in Italy, the interiors felt comparatively austere to us. But it is still a beautiful and serene place with far fewer crowds.

Not just a model village but an an education too. You can easily spend 2 hours wandering around the exhibit as easy model has little extra details and interactive elements.

Only slight disappointment was the restaurant would probably have given that a miss in hindsight.

One of the grandest buildings on the Grand Place, you will want to linger and adore its architectural might. Take some photos, although that might be hard to do as there are so many tourists around. We were here on a weekend so were unable to get inside.

What a cool museum! It's included in the Brussels Card but if you don't have it, tickets are €15, which I think is still worth it. It's so unique. It's a collection of musical instruments from all over the world, and many of them are hundreds of years old. All of the instruments are in a glass case or behind a rope (for obvious reasons) and they give you an audio guide to listen to what it sounds like. There were so many instruments I had never even heard of.

We got there at around 10:30 on a Saturday and there were a good amount of people there already (they open at 9:30). It got crowded later on so I would recommend going on a weekday if you can. We spent about an hour and a half there and got through most of everything we wanted. There are four floors, so at first, we were listening to every piece but eventually we started to just choose the things we were interested in. If you were to listen to everything, my guess is that it would probably take 3-4 hours. They have over 2,000 instruments.

Highly recommend, if you love music and are looking for something different to do!

Lots of events go on in the Parc all year round. My only note would be I’d love a notice board where it showed what was in the pipe line.
The ground staff are always helpful and willing to chat about floral displays etc.

We visited as a group of 5, 4 of whom have no interest in cars whatsoever. This was surprisingly a really fun afternoon activity. The whole place was laid out really well (could maybe do with some guidance for which direction to start but I don't think it really matters), there was clear and interesting information relating to all of the cars on display. Most of these were in 3 languages (I think French, Dutch and English) but ones we came across without English had a qr code to scan to access the written info. The entire place was spotlessly clean including the toilets. The James Bond temporary exhibition was really well done too and showed scenes from the movie that included the vehicles on display. One thing to note would be the gift shop which I imagine would be the highlight of many childrens visits - it is definitely more of a shop for car enthusiasts and not somewhere to pick up a £5 matchbox car. Overall, would definitely recommend!

The collection is superb, especially if you are interested in the work of the Dutch Golden Age... great pieces by Hals, Steen, Metsys, Membling, Bosch, Rubens, Van Dyck and many more. There is a wonderful group of paintings by Roger van der Weyden -- rare for a museum to have more than one and here there are a half dozen. The equally large group of pieces by Brueghel are a revelation... the museum has made an effort to education, as you'll see in the media used to interpret / enlarge both the Brueghel and the Hals works. Plus there is a marvelous group of Magritte works in the same building. This is a museum that must be seen. AND beyond the works, the staff are the most helpful people we've ever encountered in a museum. Truly friendly people who answered all our questions and assisted us in every way we asked. Equalled by the ease through which you can maneuver through the building. Superb signage, very easy to navigate. Altogether, one of the best experiences we've ever had in the hundreds of art museums we've visited. Highest recommendation possible.

Worthwhile pushing the door to visit and see the beautiful colourful windows. The bells are also delightful.

This is a spectacular museum! The interior architecture and layout is stunning. The dinosaur exhibit is even MORE stunning! It was quiet when we visited and we couldn't believe the quality and quantity of large dinosaur exhibits. It's totally worth it to bring the whole family and spend a couple of hours discovering each room. Recommend!

The parliamentarium is an interesting place. It showcases the evolvement of the EU and the agenda that it stands for.

After visiting this place, I can’t help but to think that the EU is probably under the control of the USA.

These buildings are truly beautiful. You will find them throughout the the old lower town but especially on the Grand Place. They are very decorative and from another era. I took a lot of photos. Lots of tourists around.

Not sure why this is a big deal. But since it is almost a symbol of Brussels, you can’t skip it. Thankfully for us, it was very near to our hotel and on the way to the Grand Place so we did not have to go out of the way for this.

On a wet day in Brussels we came across train world.

The staff on site were very knowledgable and welcoming.

The entrance is right by the train station.

There are so many exhibits to see and you have the option to use a digital guide, which is very informative.

Towards the end of the museum, there is even a train simulator, where you can drive a train!

Really worth the visit and I would highly recommend.
