Aqua Hotel is located in the Toison d'Or-Louise area (chic and trendy area, ideal for shopping), very close from the Egmont Palace, the Mont des Arts and the Royal Place where all the major museums are. Camille Lemonier Museum is also very close by. The Hotel features a fitness room openes 24/7 for which the access is free for the hotel's guests. Wifi is free in the whole hotel and the rooms have ethernet cable slots. Feel free to contact the reception in order to book the Meeting Room and organize your meetings in a design and warm atmosphere. The rooms all feature a little fridge to store your tasty souvenirs, tea and coffee facilities and air conditionning. The majority of our rooms are decorated with an original painting! We will be looking forward to making you comfortable!

BED BUG ALERT!!!!!!! I WOKE UP THIS MORNING WITH OVER 30 BUG BITES!!!! the hotel is dirty it literally has water leaking in the hallways and smells musty and moldy. Cleaning staff tried to enter our room at 9am already without our permission. it's on a sketchy street with unhoused people and human waste and lots of garbage everywhere. This hotel is paying bots for positive reviews!! you can see all the 5 star reviews have 1 or 2 words at most from "people" who only have 1-2 reviews elsewhere.

Dear Guest, You leave this message on all sites, you do not reply to my emails and I will therefore answer you again. I don't know what do you expect from us. I'm sorry for what happened to you. I understand your anger, sincerely. When the reception alerted me to the problem, I called our specialist company which manages all pest hygiene for our establishments HappyCulture Hotels in Belgium. There are no bed bugs in the occupied room. We have a maintenance contract for the entire hotel with regular visits. A new visit is shedule this week. I believe you. What can I do now to prove our consideration ? What boots are you talking about? This does not exist. You have too one contribution here and I think you're not a robot. Location was great quite near city central. Breakfast was just fine with some gluten-free options upon request. A bit suprisingly kitchen all staff did not not speak English. Rooms floor was really dusty and bit sticky, but overall cleaness was acceptable.

Very well located, with easy access to metros, shops, parks...many things with walking distance. Besides that, everything in the hotel worked nicely (they have a coffee machine with limitless coffee) and a special mention goes to the staff, super kind, helpful and friendly. Definitely will be back! :)

Where to start….. do not be fooled by the reviews. This hotel is very far from “fabulous” and “exceptional” as described by other reviewers. This is NOT an 8.6/10 hotel. Hotel is not well kept. I would merely give it a 4 and that’s being nice. Hotel is situated at a 15 minute walk from Grande Place (center of Brussel). The front entrance is in a very narrow, full of graffiti one way street. The rooms are not up to part. Very simple. Only 1 night table. Bathroom design is a joke. Not even a soap dish to place the soap bar. All windows face other windows in hotel (see picture). Reception was courteous and hotel has a convenient public parking. We paid $380 for 2 nights. Outrageous for what this is. Take your money elsewhere 🤷🏼♀️

I stayed here 3 nights. Rooms are quite and clean. I did not take breakfast so I cannot tell. Simple to reach with the metro. Only I did not like much the rooms having windows open towards an internal area and not towards the street. But it is quite comfortable and would return here.

Very deceived, the hotel is in a road that seems abandoned, felt unsafe walking there in the evening and even during the day. The common areas and elevator are quite filthy and old, smell bad. The room instead,is small but nice and clean, but electricity was not working properly with the card received. I was waken up by a strange noise of "fizzy electricity cables", probably an electrical contact, and was pretty scared. Very noisy building and narrow corridors. In the fridge not even a bottle of water was provided. Sorry but I will not recommend it.

Very friendly staff (especially Shourad at the front office and Thelma at the breakfast) and great central location, only a few minutes away from the historical center of Brussels. Great management for sure. I’ll definitely be back for my next trip.

When I chose Aqua Hotel I had in mind the proximity of a means of public transport (about 5 min walk is the subway station Porte de Namur), the positive reviews of other travelers and it caught my attention in the photos posted on booking.com and TripAdviser a large decoration inside the hotel. Arriving on the spot, the first impression was of a decent hotel, but because I already have some experience in traveling and after talking to the reception staff and the hotel manager, I can say that it is a very good hotel. The hotel was made 12 years ago. In the building, which was completely renovated to meet the new use, the offices of a branch of Kodak were previously located. I understand that the owner of the hotel is a great art lover and even had an art gallery before the hotel where works of contemporary Belgian plastic artists were exhibited/sold. Paintings that were not sold now decorate the hotel rooms. In my room I have a 2014 Yorik Efira. This explains the decoration that I mentioned before. In fact, it is a work of art belonging to Arne Quinze. It is made of wooden planks painted in a shrill blue that contrasts with the whiteness of the walls. The work symbolizes several streams of water that are found both outside and inside, seeming to penetrate through the glass roof of the hallway at the reception. The work follows the elements of the building and gives the impression of dynamism. Quite unusual for a hotel! The bed is comfortable, all the installations in the room / toilet work flawlessly, cleaning is done every day. Breakfast is rich, diverse, and the omelette is present. Next to it sausages, or small slices of roasted ham. And the pastry, a miracle! The staff is very kind and provides accurate and useful information about the problems you may have as a tourist in Brussels.…

This would have been a two star review but initial issues were quickly resolved. The hotel is an oasis in the middle of a grim seedy neighbourhood. It is very conveniently situated near the metro and close to the centre but the area really is unpleasant. Cons: The wifi did not work at all on the -2 lower floor (an issue as I needed to work), after heavy rain water percolated up through the corridor floor, the room was located down a byzantine series of corridors with unmarked doors, late evening a guest accessed our room due to a booking confusion, I didn't see any sign of housekeeping my entire three nights but.... Pros: Staff are very pleasant helpful and friendly and moved us to the -1 floor where there was wifi, the rooms are outstandingly quiet and soundproofed, breakfast, as others have noted is good, and the hotel is reasonably priced. I genuinely would recommend the Aqua but do insist on a room not on the -2 floor…
