The restaurant is really good, but Alfonso makes the experience great. I would definitely suggest a visit for the food a really great offering well prepared. But the service made all the difference. Thanks Alfonso!

Talmo, front of house, really makes this place special. He’s like a mind reader. I went two nights in a row and he anticipated my every wish and suggested a perfect wine. Very friendly and kind even though I had a dining credit through my...Amex card as a guest at the hotel. The food was spectacular, and as an American, used to tipping, I think the prices were great given the portions and quality of food and beverages. Can’t wait to come back.More
Excellent Spanish flavoured restaurant at the corner Place Sablon, connected to but independent of a hotel. Very nice 2- or 3-course lunch menu with two choices for each. Tasty and well prepared. Delicious. Only minus comes from the price.
Spanish style restaurant with a limited selection on the menu and of course, the one dish we had gon the for was not available that night. So we had to fall back on pork meatballs for my husband and grilled scallops for me. The meatballs...were tender but the scallops were a tad overcooked. Service was so slow that we almost left before being served.More
Hispania is tucked near the entrance of NH Hotel Brussels. Soft spoken staff will introduce you to world of besutofully prepared and fantastic tasting Spanish tapas and other specialties on the menu. If your schedule permits, ask for wine pairings with the dishes - you...will not be disappointed.More
We ordered only small dishes for sharimg, and the food was absolutely amazing! Especially the octopus and the jamon. And our waiter who is portugese was really nice.
Hotel restaurant with a Spanish theme (as the hotel chain is from Spain). Nice private dining room in the back of the restaurant easily seating 10. Interesting and tasty dishes: Fried artichoke served with a slow cooked egg at 65°C, followed by tender suckling pig...with smoked eggplant.More
Our bill for the meal at this restaurant, was the most expensive of our trip to Brussels, unfortunately it was the least enjoyable. There were several mis-steps with the service, and the food was average. We felt rushed and saw also, waiters trying to take...away plates, where the diner haven’t finished eating at nearby tables. We also ate at another restaurant in a hotel during our stay, by comparison, - BoCConi - which was excellent…More
Can only recommend. I had Salpicón de Rape y Langostinos as the starter. Then Arroz Meloso de Calamares en Sú Tinta, Chipirones Y Carpaccio de Gamba. Accompanied with quite good Cava Corpinnant Gramona Imperial Brut. Isle of creative Spanish spirit in the capital of Europe.
With a group of friends we were looking for a high end experience and booked the Hispania. We indeed found a high class restaurant with attentive service in a very comfortable environment. Menu is sophisticated Spanish, and dishes turned out to be excellently prepared and...presented. The bill was surprisingly affordable compared of our expectations. Definitely one to recommend in Brussels.More
Very good experience with special menu that contain special dishes. The staff very kindly. The place very nice and special
Wow! We came here for my partners Birthday for dinner, the food, the service, it was all amazing. What a great find. If you’re in Brussels this is an absolute must. I had the croquette to start followed by the lamb, it was all delicious,...cooked to perfection. We’d ordered a Sauvignon to accompany the meal which unfortunately they didn’t have so we tried the managers recommendation instead, the man knows his wines. It was perfect.More
My wife and I visited Hispania Brussels in August. I had already read a lot of positive reviews about Hispania so I decided to give it a shot and order a table via “The Fork” application. What to say.. the food was just great. Fantastic...taste, perfectly made and we definitely got our money worth. But what I want to say about this business is that is by far the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. You’re welcomed right away by a very friendly waiter and from the beginning you’re taken care of and they’re always making sure you have something to drink and/or if you need something. There’s basically no waiting time worth mentioning and you don’t feel like you’re missing anything as well. You’re missing out if you don’t visit Hispania BrusselsMore

Impressed by the beauty of the decoration both in this restaurant and in other tourist sites, the Belgians really have the trend of decoration, we ate very well, it was perfect
Wandering round Brussels with some time to spare and empty stomachs we thought the best we could hope for was more moules, beer and frites. Then we happened upon HISPANIA The meal was exceptional, the ambience pleasing and the service faultless. I’ve had chicken croquettes...many times but never as delicious as these. They simply disappeared in your mouth with sensational taste. The lamb was better than any I have tasted in Spain Our waiter from Galicia recommended a Galician rice pudding- like a cream brûlée- yum What a surprise and what a find! Must visit the branch in London. RecommendMore
