The decor is very nice, though there’s a slight smell of sewage towards the inner part of the room. Service is businesses like . Food was nice enough, but in my mind rather overpriced : €34 for the daily lunch suggestion is acceptable if it...is truly exceptional.. It was not: some rabbit with fries, quite salty tomato sauce to follow on some ok vitello tonnato… Shame as the place hs potential…More

We were so happy that the restaurant survived the Covid 19 pandemic. The decor might be a bit outdated - but it is authentic and charming. The team tries hard to make sure you have a nice meal - and they succeed ! The classic...pasta dishes are very good. We have been here probably 10 times and have never been disappointed - we are just surprised that it is not more popular. You always find a table - even rather late after a concert or a movie. And last but not least - the wine list in interesting ... and the house (red) wine is great value for a reasonable privé. Warmly recommended.More

A true enoteca with a good wine selection, delicious carpaccio, vegetable soup, and home made pasta. The papardelle with ragu were perfect. With only one server, you never felt left out even if the place was booming. I would recommend reservations for Saturday nights.

Great bruschetta and spaghetti cacio e pepe. The opinion on the mains was a bit more mixed. The sliced beef salad and penne arrabbiata tasted well but the sea bass, while accompanied by tasty artichoke and eggplant slices, was too fluffy and tasteless... Nice wines...by the glass If you stick to the suggestions of the day or meat dishes this place definitely earns a 4 plates rating!More

We tried booking on The Fork, but it was showing that the restaurant was sold out for a party of 4. We decided to just walk and take our chance. It worked! We were immediately seated. It has a lot of atmosphere, very authentic and...wine-based. A number of wine bottles on shelves and cork art on the ceiling. We ordered beer and an excellent Pinot Grigio. The menu has a number of choices, but we had the bruschetta for an appetiser. For mains, we had the Gambas with curry and saffron rice; ravioli with spinach and ricotta and ravioli with truffle and mushrooms. While all were beautifully prepared and presented, the truffle ravioli was clearly the best. We chose The Tiramisu as dessert and were not disappointed. The service is excellent - friendly and efficient.More

Our waiter was patient with all my special request for my child, and followed all of them correctly which made for a nice dinner. I had the antipasti dish for starters. It was a nice change from your typical antipasti dish, I loved the string...beans. Followed was a perfectly cooked puttanesca pasta dish, and a nice fillet beef with green pepper sauce. The food was very good (8.5/10) but it seems the kitchen was a bit slow. The restaurant was not full (just two tables were occupied) yet it took almost 20 minutes to get our starters. Following dishes flowed better. I wished for some more atmosphere and maybe a more modern decor. Overall 8/10.More

This was an excellent Italian meal in a small, cozy, old-style restaurant in Brussels. The pasta pomodoro and basilico was great, as was the Beef Tagliata. It doesn’t get any better. The restaurant has a very old-school feel and served classic great food.

Authentic and absolutely delicious Italian food. The pasta seemed homemade and was full of flavour. The caprese salad was very fresh and there was a wide selection of wines to choose from. The service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant decor was cosy and...delightful.More

Very high quality of the food from pasta to meat and seafood, cosy setting in a historic restaurant. No pizza, not cheap. But definitely recommended.

The Roman owner has sought to create a small charming restaurant with fine Italian food. He succeeds very nicely. Hence my five circles above. The small staff is very friendly and accommodating. (On previous occasions I have sometimes wanted something that was not on the...menu and they would accommodate me if they could). I started with bresaola. Excellent, but one order would feed two. The menu features a wide variety of pastas, many home made. Haven’t had one that disappointed. Nice wine list. Limited bar, but when I have wanted a martini they find the ingredients and make a very good one. We had an excellent meal. And the prices are fair. If you are looking for La Pergula (*** Roma) with lots of wait staff, much production, etc., go somewhere else. Doubt you will find it in Brussels. If you want an excellent Italian meal, with friendly staff, nice wines in a charming rustic environment, this is your place.More

Great Italian food, high quality ingredients, good choice of meals on the menu, cosy historic interior. This is not your regular pizzeria, so food is a bit more pricy.
