I booked a table for New Year's Eve via a specialised app (The Fork). I received confirmation from the app. When arrived at the time reserved, I was informed that my reservation was not valid, due to some vague problem. When I asked why I...was not informed before, the responsible person LIED by telling they had called my phone 3 times with no reply. I had NO missed calls in my phone that day. I of course left with no intention to return there in my life. I cannot tell about the food quality but their way of treating customers is a clear indication of the attention they pay on what they feed them. To be avoided.More
Whenever I am in Brussels center I have lunch in the Loft. It was always OK, except this time. I ordered "Picaña Argentine Rioplatense", 4 slices of grilled beef. Three slices were fine and nicely medium grilled, the fourth was extremely hard, of purple color...and was impossible to eat. I understand the economic hardships of the day, but it would be much better if they would serve one slice less, or if they just would adjust the price. I deeply regret: this ruined my lunch.More
Spontaneous Lunch turned out to be a pleasant experience: good food, friendly service. Outside seating in a moderately quiet side street.
What an amazing surprise, I was walking looking for a restaurant and I passed by the door and by looking inside I saw someone by the window having an amazing looking burger. I decide to go in, and I can say, one of the best...decisions in a long time regarding restaurants. The environment is super cool and relaxed, cosy and trendy. The staff is great and they welcomed me with a warm smile and hello. They gave me time to choose and offered to help deciding. I went for the chicken burger. OMG what a great burger, the meet was not dry and was really tender. The flavours of the meat with the bbq sauce was really well balanced. The bread was crunchy but not hard. I would recommend this place to everyone I know since it’s great. By the way the music was good as well, not too loud and was in sync with the space vibe.More
It was abaout time to share this HOT spot for different occasions. Having a drink with some friends with some nice finger food or a platter with (amazing) sausage :-). I decided to also organise my birthday with over 20 peoples and the organisation was...amazing. In the evening / after work sessions, you've got nice music with a dj on certain evenings. I would say, experience it the moment and you won't be disappointed!More
We came in to have a nice aperitief with finger food, but we were taken out of our seats and shown the door because you could only go there for dinner. Strange because it was only 17h30... and the place is called a bar/restaurant.More

We didn't eat here but had a few drinks in a very nice setting. One of the few places in Brussels for a decent glass of wine. Nice selection of cocktails too

This is my 50th review on Trip Adviser and I am sorry to say the Loft was the worst location that I have visited so far. It is not to say that the venue itself is not nice, it is, but their shortcomings and a...total absence of any customer service and helpful staff prevent me from awarding anything higher. I visited during their "Happy Hour" and found one of the few free tables (the venue was busy). I attracted the attention of a waitress who said that unless we were ordering food I would need to order at the bar. This I did and whilst it was quite chaotic I was served fairly quickly, Two gins and 1 tonic - you only get one mixer in happy hour! - cost €10.00. The drinks were fine and one could not complain about the price. But then things took a turn for the worst. I decided to order Nachos at a cost of €8.00 and a further round of Gin. The waitress however informed me that "this was not classed as food" and thus a further trip to the bar was required. I placed my order and returned to our table to wait. Within about 3 minutes I was presented with a bowl of Nachos which had been tipped out of a packet. There was a very small pot of guacamole. There was no cheese, not tomato and pepper sauce and the Nachos had not been warned up. For €8 this was totally unsatisfactory and a complete rip off. I asked the waitress if the "chef" had forgotten to add the other ingredients and if not could some sauce and cheese be provided. The answer was no. This is how they come. After eating about 15 and consuming the small pot of guacamole I asked if I could at least be provided with more given that the pot was far too small in any case. The waitress returned and said I could have another small post if I pay a further €3.00. It was like adding salt to a raw wound. I indicated that I was very disappointed with the customer service and expressed my concern over the value for money and service. The waitress appeared not to care less and was simply rude. So in conclusion, if you go in "happy hour" and are happy to order a drink at the bar this may be the place for you. But if you are looking for service, a smile and good food / ambience then may I suggest you try someone more worthy of your custom. Rest assured I will never go back. Shame on you LOFT - Even when I indicated that I would be writing a critical review this made no difference. I can only assume that they think the general public are stupid.More
It is good located, nice decoration. The only thing it will be better if there will be service of taking the orders on your table and not going always to order to the bar. You really have to go on the happy hour really nice...cocktails ,good served . Martini Espresso for recommendation.More
We visited here as close to the sofitel. We had a good burger and steak. Well cooked. The atmosphere was excellent and really enjoyed eating here. Would come back next time in Brussels.
Had dinner here on a Wednesday night. It’s very busy and booking is recommended from Wednesday - Sunday. It’s seems more like a bar than a restaurant, can be quite noisy also. Food was great, only downside is that they didn’t have my first choice...of pasta dish available. But overall staff very friendly and accommodating.More
We went for early dinner on our first night in Brussels. Comfortable chairs were a treat. Happy hour was an unexpected bonus although a little surprised to get 2x the gin but the tonic wasn’t included! Burgers were great, fries also very good. Salads were...good but not exceptional. Although the site said up to 30% discount for online booking, we were given 10%. The eftpos machine wasn’t working so had to walk 10 minutes for cash, a bit tough at the end of a long day. Stop there for a quick lunch and I enjoyed the place, people working there and the food. I had an Hamburger and also the salads looked pretty good. If you are in that area the loft is the place to go to.
