I found this place because it had pretty good reviews, had some specific Belgian dishes we were looking to try, and was close by to where we were. We got there at around 12:30 on a Saturday and it was pretty filled already. I ordered...the C’est si Bon combo platter, which included a salad, stoemp (mashed potatoes), meatballs in tomato sauce, carbonnade (Flemish beef stew), and vol au vent (chicken in white sauce). It wasn’t bad. It’s probably not really for my taste buds because it’s so heavy but I’m glad it was a little bit of everything so I at least got to try it. I don’t think I could have finished a full size of any of these entrees alone. I liked the beef stew more than I thought I would because the beef tends to be dry, but it was pretty tender here. The vol au vent was creative because the dish normally inside a puff pastry but since this was a sample, they put a miniature pastry ring on top, which was cute and made it less heavy. Hubby had La Dinantaise (assorted duck plate with foie gras, smoked breast, gizzards, rillettes, terrine) served with a salad. I enjoyed the foie gras and duck breast but the rest was meh, but more of a texture thing for me. Overall, the food was okay but if you’re looking for a variety of dishes to try, this would be a good option.More

What a wonderful traditional Belgian dinner. We were seated by the owner who was welcoming and friendly. My husband had Stoemp with Sausage. The mashed potatoes were heavenly and complemented nicely by the sausage and pork belly. I had Vero's Vol au Vent de, which...is chicken, mushrooms and cream sauce over a puff pastry. The chicken was very tender and the pastry was delicate, perfect balance. We are so glad we found this place and highly recommend it!More

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant by chance. Ordered the Carbonnade Flamande which was excellent. Very tender meat with a tasty, rich sauce, accompanied by new potatoes. This was accompanied by a lovely bottle of Pinot noir. Excellent service and a good price.

We went on a whim and the place was fully booked inside for 1.5 hours from the time we arrived on a weekday. It was a bit chilly out, so we were seated outside immediately. Food was very good, service was great, and the beers...were good. They didn't have Belgian waffles, but would recommend this place for a traditional Belgian meal. If you are a planner, be sure to make a reservation to be guaranteed a seat inside!More

We went here for dinner and we had the special which has a selection of Belgian dishes. It was a great choice and the dishes are the perfect size and delicious when we came in we weren't sure what to try but it was a...really good idea for our first night in Brussels. We had Belgian beer with the dishes. We didn't need a dessert as we were so full but they looked really tasty and large . The starters looked really interesting too. It was very busy so it was good that we had booked they have tables outside and downstairs but we were happy to sit upstairs as the surroundings were bright with interesting decorations. Just be aware that the stairs up to the bathroom are quite steep. The service was fantastic they gave us suggestions about the food and the beer, good amount of time and they were helpful and friendly. The food was really delicious and the next time we come back to Brussels we will definitely visit again!More

Friendly service, animated street, good Belgian fare and affordable prices. This little place won’t disappoint, if you want to sample Belgian food. They even have a combi platter for those who can’t decide, or would like a bit of everything.

This restaurant is clearly geared towards tourists in search of typical Belgian food. Many of the dishes on the menu feel like „home cooking“. And the restaurant does live up to its name, the food was delicious. Prices are fair and service friendly. The street...in which the restaurant is located is lovely, too.More

My girlfriend and I visited Brussels for the first time and chose to eat here as our first meal. C'est Bon Crest Belge is THE perfect introduction to Brussels. Amazing traditional dishes and such a welcome service! The food was amazing with quick service and...brilliant hospitality. I recommend the Carbonnade de flamande as it was delicious. Alongside the food, the selection of tasty beers is a must try!! Very welcoming and very helpful when asking about recommendations for Brussels. I can't emphasise how perfect this restaurant is for a taste of Brussels!! The owner Eric was so helpful and a special thanks to him! Thank you Eric and C'est Bon Crest Belge for giving our trip the perfect start!!!More

Bland food, seemed unseasoned. The waiter, quite rude, told us we cannot order just food because we are two people sitting at a four-people table and cut his tip in half. i told him he can split up the two tables. The rude attitude was...totally uncalled for.More

Bonjour, the waiter in question was actually me, the owner. I find your message very confusing, with not being able to order food (why would I as a restaurateur refuse to sell food?), the tip "cut in half" (??) and the splitting of the tables....More

Excellent food and service. They were so kind with us and the typical Belgian food was amazing. Also, eating with beer from here was definitely something to do.

Lovely resto with a nice terrace and surprisingly outstanding food (it is close to the tourist areas of Brussels, so one would expect some hiccups with the food quality - but no, this place is not a tourist trap). we enjoyed carbonnade and a couple...of beers (the gentleman serving us was very polite and knowledgeable of food-beer pairing). 5 stars and I'm looking forward to eating here again.More
