Delicious, both the pizza & the pasta. The lady makes the dough for the pizzas herself in the kitchen where you can see it, so very fresh! Also very cheap compared to other places in center of Brussels. Take your time to go there, service...is not super fast.More

Italian cusine with a french-belgian touch. Delicious homemade fresh pasta with a good choice from the menu, very tasty Milanese steak, served with potatoes, fries or with pasta - an uncommon match in Italy, but done in this case with very good ingredients. Pizza is...also fine. The family atmosphere and the old-fashioned, démodé decoration make a very cosy environment, which is harder and harder to find. I've been here plenty of times and I'm pretty sure I'll come back.More

The best pizza in town! You don't believe me? Just go and have a try...you won't be deceived at all!!! And prices are very honest. For an Italian like me who loves pizza, discovering Le Casse Croûte has been amazing :-D

This restaurant came recommended by our Bruxellois host "simple and unpretentious" he told us. He was absolutely right. Great Aperitif Maison, reasonable starters (calamari fritti & beef carpaccio). Pichet of red, I had pasta and my wife ossobucco. Total bill under €50, all courses prepared...to a good standard. Would recommend both for quality, service and value.More

Pasta just freshly made by the owner or his wife. Pizza is very tasteful and do not get burnt as charcoal. I have been in this restaurant for the last 15 years and it has not changed slightly on the quality of the plates. The...restaurant has been refurbished since couple of months.More

I live 100 meters away and therefore I visit this restaurant quite often. It is not outstanding, but it has a very good price/quality ratio. If you are looking for something special - there are better Italian restaurants in Brussels. But if you are close...by and you simply want to eat something Italian, you will NOT be disappointed.More

Having lived in Italy for several years now, I learned an important lesson: when abroad, try to avoid so called "Italian" restaurants, as they tend to be disappointing. But that particular evening there wasn't much of a choice as most of the places I favor...in the area were closed. Well meaning advice from a hotel clerk pointed me to Le Casse Croute. As I was trying to avoid the pasta and the pizza, I asked whether the shrimp croquettes were freshly made? This was confirmed. So I tried those. Unfortunately, they were served semi-frozen, and the rare shrimp I could discover, was a cheap, rubbery, deep frozen and tasteless Norwegian shrimp, instead of the rich, grey North Sea shrimp you would expect in so called "home made" croquettes in Brussels. And definitely for that price. I then ordered a grilled steak. It was "seignant" as I had asked, but not very "grilled" on the outside. It had a greyish color. Worse, the fries served with it, were clearly frozen, industrial fries and no fresh ones. Last but not least, the choice for the house wine proved wrong as well. This was absolute cheapest rubbish and should never be served in any type of restaurant. So, all in all, I managed to eat something, on a wintery Monday evening, but the quality was poor and I can therefor not recommend this place at all...More

I was so pleased to find this little gem of a restaurant. Being on a small side street, and about the size of a my living room, it is easy to just pass it by, but I am SO HAPPY we didn't. Their specialty, I...think, are their classic homemade pizzas. Their pasta dishes are to die for as well. Tagliatelle arrabiata is one of our favorites. Simple/basic but quality menu, genuine service and nice "Ma & Pa" homey atmosphere. Not to mention, super affordable!More
